QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
“ARE YOUR BOOKS AVAILABLE IN FOREIGN LANGUAGES?”
Yes! Families around the world enjoy sharing my stories!
Over the years, my picture books have been translated into approximately 20 different languages, including Chinese, Dutch, Finnish, German, Hindi, Japanese, Malaysian, Polish, Russian, Slovenian, Urdu and even Welsh!
“DO YOU GET PAID TO PROMOTE BOOKS?”
No. I only recommend picture books on my blog that I love and own (or have borrowed from the public library). I do not receive free copies from publishers and am not asked to endorse particular books. Using my experience as a professional writer-illustrator (and father), I only promote books that I believe in. I won’t waste your time with negative reviews of second-rate titles.
“WHERE CAN I BUY YOUR BOOKS?”
I am committed to supporting independent bookstores. All my ‘Buy’ buttons link to Bookshop.org. They make a donation for each book sold to independent bookstores in the U.K. and U.S.A. (I also receive an affiliate commission at no extra cost to you.)
Alternatively, my books are widely available from all good book shops and online.
(And don’t forget you can always borrow them from your local public library!)
“I’M AN ASPIRING WRITER/ILLUSTRATOR. CAN YOU HELP ME…?”
There are lots of good resources out there - Nathan Bransford’s blog would be a great place to start.
